The full title of the person known as the Muslim Antichrist is Al-Maseeh (The Messiah), Ad-Dajjel (The liar/Deceiver). He is usually referred to as the "Dajjal".
The Dajjal is not mentioned Qur'an at all. There is not one Surah pertaining to the Dajjal. There are many descriptions of the Dajjal found in the hadith, which is a collection of sayings and traditions that Muhammad had proclaimed.
He will be the Great deceiver.
He Dajjal will have miraculous powers and hold temporarily hold power over the whole earth. One of his powers will be the ability to heal by wiping his hand on them.
He will have only one eye.
This is the most quoted attribute about the Dajjal, however The Hadith contradicts itself concerning which eye is the blind one.
He will be an Infidel.
It is said that he will have the word "infidel" (Kafir) written between his eyes, but only true Muslims will be able to see and read it.
He will be a false miracle worker.
He will have the power to show the image of one's dead ancestors on his hand and they will bear false testimony about the deity of the Dajjal.
The Dajjal will have a magic mule.
The Muslim Scholar Muhammad Ali ibn Zubair Ali writes that the Dajjal will have a giant mule and travel around the world at great speeds. This may be compared to Jesus riding a donkey into Jerusalem.
There will be cities of refuge from the Dajjal.
There will be three cites that the Dajjal will not be permitted to enter, Mecca, Medina and Damascus. The Dajjal will enter every city in the world, except these three, to test and try to deceive every living human being. Muslims are encouraged to take refuge in one of these three cities.
Muslims believe that if they memorize the first ten verses of Surah 18 (The Cave), which is found in the Qur'an, they will be protected from the powers of the Dajjal, which they consider to be evil.
The Dajjal will be Jewish and so will most of his followers, including women.
This belief is based on several Islamic traditions. It is believed by most Muslims that the Dajjal will be Jewish and most of his army will be made up of Jewish recruits
The Dajjal will be killed by the Muslim Jesus.
It is believed that the Muslim Jesus, known as the son of Mary, will descend from paradise to lead Muslims in prayer. The Dajjal will see Jesus praying, and at that time Allah will use Jesus to kill the Dajjal and also those who followed the Dajjal.
This is not the same Jesus that is spoken of in the Bible. The Bible makes very clear that Jesus, who is Jewish, is the living Son of God. It is proclaimed in Acts 5:31
Him (Jesus) God (The Father) has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
